How much does a plumbing company website cost in 2026?

Published 2026 estimates put a plumber's website at roughly $2,200 to $7,250 with a freelancer and $5,800 to $17,400 with an agency, though one builder's guide quotes $500 to $10,000+ for freelancers. DIY builders cost roughly $150 to $500 a year, and MoxiSync websites start from $1,500. Sources disagree and come from companies that sell websites.

01

What drives the price for a plumber

The estimator names service-area pages as the main lever and suggests 10 to 15 location pages for local search, which only help if each says something useful about that area. Links to dispatch tools such as ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro add cost. Emergency work needs a tappable phone number and a visible emergency notice. Job photos, reviews and fast mobile loading make the page more convincing.

02

Hidden and ongoing costs

One estimator puts US running costs at $30 to $150 a month, plus $30 to $50 a month for call tracking if you run paid ads. A builder's guide lists maintenance, SEO tools, email tools and scheduling or chat features at $0 to $100+ a month each, depending on what you add. Add domain renewal and any booking or dispatch software fees. Ask which of these are included in the quote.

03

Comparing quotes fairly

Ask for page count, who writes the copy, how emergency calls are routed, where form submissions go, who hosts the site and who owns the accounts. Be wary of guarantees about rankings or call volume. The estimator puts a typical build at about 3 to 8 weeks.
